Recovery of this anchor is quick and easy, especially with use of the trip-line attachment point. The balanced, self-launching design of the anchor makes it ideal for use with windlasses and bow rollers.
Wing anchors have a high holding power to weight ratio, so a lighter Delta/Wing anchor will suffice in place of heavier in other styles. As an example, for most 25' boats, a 13 lbs Delta/Wing anchor is a good anchor choice.
