Its winglets add downward force to wedge the anchor beneath the seabed for a secure anchor set. The Delta style anchors tapering profile shank aids in centering the anchor in the bow roller on retrieval. Its profile also has a unique 45 degree angle near the plow which helps self-launch the anchor in most bow rollers. Delta style anchors are popular because they perform well on many bottom types.
